If you can even conceptualize something a specific member of said race being convinced that this is the best way to gain power and achieve their goals, congrats: you just rationalized how that race can be a warlock. Warlocks aren’t explicitly tied to being a part of some group, so no “splinter group” shenanigans needs to narratively be pulled in order to justify a member of a race become a warlock (unlike what they did with the Void Elves). Just because a society at large may not like an idea or support it, does not mean that individuals will share in the collective viewpoint. This literally only takes about 5 minutes (or less) of critical thinking to disprove.

  • (Insert Race Here) would never become Warlocks.
  • Apparently, demon blood has a “best by” date, still bad idea to consume it. It may sound stupid, but the only difference that can be seen between the effects of the blood on AU Gul’dan and the fel orcs of Tanaan is that Mannoroth’s blood was about a year old. The only difference between these two groups is that the blood that was consumed by our MU orcs was fresh, the grey AU orcs drank Mannoroth’s blood after he had been dead for like a year.

If this was the case, then AU Gul’dan and his Shadow Council members that consumed the blood of Mannoroth pre-Garrosh “Times Change” would be grey as well. Orcs from AU Draenor must be different since they turned grey from drinking the demon blood.Īgain, no.If merely using fel magic as a Warlock changed the color and physical appearance of the user, there would be an lore issue with EVERY playable race not being transformed, not just the Mag’har Orcs. We most prevalently see users that don’t transform when it comes to Light and Order magic, but this whole point about being infused with magic and so-what is LITERALLY the core conflict between the Primal Incarnates and the Aspects.

We have seen repeatedly for the last few expansions that infusing yourself with or consuming something infused with large amounts of a specific type of magic results in a physical transformation. You change color by taking the magic inside of you, not just by using it as a tool. Orcs can’t use Fel and not change color.OK, didn’t think this had to be explained, but here’s the rundown, because I have been seeing tons of misconceptions and just straight-up nonsensical arguments ever since the 10.1.5 announcement came out.
